Best Solo Ever?

Okay, so this song was awarded Best Solo of All Time recently by a music publication. Its good, dont get me wrong, but will it stand the test of time?

Attack of the killer live dvds!

It's becoming a bit of a fad to record a live album but while some bands do some half hearted effort we do get the occasional masterful performance worthy of our attention. Here are two great clips from Mastadon's live at the Aragaon and Opeth's live at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Haunted see no Ghosts

Having been a big lover of the Haunted's music for some years now I was excited to see the album streaming on www.metalsucks.net and duly gave the entire album a listen. I then ordered it online. Perhaps not the best Haunted album but definitely the first one I've been able to pass onto friends that would not normally like this band. Maybe, they will now venture into the darker realms of the Haunted, but until then... they can enjoy Unseen.

It's been a while...

Been ages since I did anything with this but I'm back. I realised that I had been away for well over a year and in that time I've been fortunate enough to discover many new bands and fall upon some old ones aswell. Hopefully I can share all of them with those of you that stumble across this page.
